Project Manager

At Mattro, we develop high-performance electric drive and energy systems for advanced off-highway and robotic applications.

If you excel at coordinating complex technical projects and aligning customer needs with real-world engineering feasibility, this role is for you.

You ensure that customer‑specific projects based on our electric robotic platforms are delivered on time, in the required quality, and with clear communication. Acting as the central interface between customers and internal teams, you translate requirements into executable solutions, align expectations with technical realities, and orchestrate all stakeholders across engineering, production, and operations.

What you’ll do

  • Capture and clarify customer requirements and align them with R&D

  • Define and maintain the project scope throughout the lifecycle

  • Plan and monitor timelines, milestones, and technical deliverables

  • Coordinate communication and alignment between customer, Sales, R&D, and internal teams

  • Manage change requests incl. evaluation of effort, time & risk

  • Identify risks early and communicate status transparently

  • Ensure teams consider relevant standards (CE, EMC, machinery safety, export control, MIL standards)

  • Maintain project documentation and coordinate handover to the customer

  • Work within our established processes and tool landscape (Microsoft 365)

Who You are

  • Experience in technical project management, ideally in electrical or mechatronic systems

  • Technical background (electrical, electronic, mechatronic, or software‑related fields)

  • Understanding of the structure of technical norms & regulations (no detailed expertise required)

  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear project actions

  • Experience with R&D collaboration and close alignment with Sales

  • Strong communication skills, structured working style, confident stakeholder management

  • Very good German and English skills (spoken & written)

  • Ability to manage several projects in parallel and keep them on schedule
