Software Engineer
At Mattro, we develop high-performance electric drive and energy systems for advanced off-highway and robotic applications.
As a Software Engineer, you will develop embedded software for our vehicle control systems and battery management systems. You will work on innovative electric drive systems, safety-critical functions and state-of-the-art energy systems, and support projects from the concept phase through to series production.
In doing so, you will work closely with the Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Prototyping and Production departments, as well as with external partners, and play an active role in shaping the further development of our technologies.

What you’ll do

Embedded software development
Development of embedded software in C for vehicle control and battery management systems (BMS) -
Control and regulation functions
Implementation of functions for electric drives and vehicle systems -
Functional safety
Implementation of safety mechanisms and support for safety concepts

Testing & Commissioning
Carrying out module, integration and system tests, as well as debugging -
Tools & Peripherals
Contributing to diagnostic, flashing and development tools
Who You are

Technical qualifications
HTL, university of applied sciences or university degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable subject. -
Experience
In embedded software development using C, debugging and systematic root-cause analysis. -
Functional safety
An interest in safety-critical software development and technical system interrelationships.
